Design features
Media
Add images and videos to your page to improve the visual appear of a page. Follow the govenance and file naming conventions to create your file and then follow the instructions to upload it to the CMS. All video files should be streamed from a supported streaming service such as Vimeo, Viostream or YouTube.
Visualisations and interactivity
Introduce excitement into your content by adding interative elements. Interactive elements should always be relevant to the content and add value for the user.
Long form content
If you have long form content, consider whether all of the content is relevant to all audiences. Using long form content components can increase space efficiencies and reduce scrolling on a page by presenting the content in a more organised and accessible manner.
Data collection
If you're seeking to collect data, DE&S recommend using FormAssembly to collect information from participants. Always be sure to only capture information you require and ensure you follow information security guidelines for the storage of Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
